Home Again, the Canadian film that was shot in Trinidad and Tobago last year created history and a lot of buzz on social media, when it was Red Carpet premiered at the prestigious British Museum recently to extremely positive reviews.
Lisa Wickham’s Imagine Media International Limited, teamed up with the UK’s Epicum Films and Diahanne Rhiney to produce the star studded event which was a fitting culmination to Black History Month in England.
Home Again stars Tatyana Ali (Fresh Prince of Bel Air), CCH Pounder (Sons of Anarchy, Avatar, The Shield, Bagdad Cafe) were joined on the Red Carpet by UK celebrities, recording artistes, TV and Radio personalities, Fashion Designers models and sporting heros, including Olympic star, Linford Christie, British High Jump star, Dalton Grant, Actors, Karen Bryson and Jimmy Akingbola, Recording Artiste, Romeo and So Solid Crew, as well as the Trinidad and Tobago High Commissioner to the UK, Garvin Nicholas and his wife Dr. Nicola Alcala.
In addressing the sold out crowd of London’s eminent, His Excellency, Garvin Nicholas, thanked the producers for choosing Trinidad and Tobago as the location for the film (which is set in Jamaica), given the significant investment it represented to the economy. He also invited other producers to explore options to film in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Home Again team, Director Sudz Sutherland, Producer-Writer Jennifer Holness, Supervising Producer (TT), Lisa Wickham and Hollywood stars Tatyana Ali and CCH Pounder fielded questions from the audience who were in high praise for the film.
While in the UK, the Home Again team conducted a number of media interviews across various mainstream media such as the BBC, MTV and BET – a feat for a black independent film in the UK. The Home Again team also visited and shared experiences with young people in Brixton at Livity – a youth engagement agency aimed at creating content and campaigns to inspire young people.
Home Again will open in select cinemas nationwide in the UK on November 29, 2013.
