On October 23th, I had the pleasure of attending The Haitian Roundtable 10th Anniversary Soirée, at The Cecil Steakhouse in Harlem.

In an intimately powerful evening, The Haitian Roundtable (HRT) honored the achievements of Haitian-Americans and friends of Haiti. With this year’s mission set to “commemorate a decade of redefining the narrative about Haiti and Haitians in the United States,” the HRT successfully executed a memorable celebration of its honorees.
