Khadine Hylton, better known to her Caribbean fans as Miss Kitty, has fulfilled a life goal of becoming a law graduate!

On Friday Nov. 2nd, the award-winning media personality, author and motivational speaker graduated with First Class Honors in Law, from the University of the West Indies, Mona. This brilliant mind was also named the valedictorian and spoke on behalf of the faculties of Law and Social Sciences.

Her animated and riveting address, titled “On the Cusp of Greatness,” was a speech most will never forget.

“The world needs leaders, thinkers and problem solvers, and based on the education we have received — which is a privilege — we have to put ourselves squarely in the path to revolutionize the world, if we want a different world. Don’t just allow your degree to be something upon which you sleep or rest, but something you use to champion causes and effect change,” she proclaimed.

Listen to the loquacious diva deliver her enthralling valedictorian speech below:

As someone who is considering going back to school soon, Miss Kitty has totally inspired me. I am genuinely proud of her latest accomplishments. This is only the beginning of higher education, for this beauty…dripping in all of her black girl magic, plans to continue her pursuit of becoming an attorney at the Norman Manley Law School. Hylton earned her Bachelor of Laws this weekend but already holds a B.A. in English from UWI.

Will she enter entertainment law, criminal defense or become a civil attorney? Miss Kitty has not yet revealed her law specialty.

I can definitely see Jamaica’s beloved Ms Hylton running for public office. Lisa Hanna, you might have just earned a running mate! Future female Prime Minister? Most definitely!

Congrats to you Khadine. You have inspired a multitude of women and Caribbean people! #CaribbeanGirlsRock
