Nadine Sutherland has remade her dancehall classic “Action” as a dubplate for 2020 United States Vice Presidential candidate, Kamala Harris.

Kamala Harris, daughter of a Jamaican father, is getting much support from her Jamaican family and the Caribbean diaspora, especially with this new “Action” dubplate.

Action,” the 1993 hit Billboard from songstress Nadine and dancehall deejay Terror Fabulous is a Caribbean classic and it superbly refixed for such a time as now.

The Action (Kamala Harris dubplate) was sponsored by Trevor Smith, directed by Dave Rodney and edited by Shaun Walsh.

“We modified things a bit and tried to get out some of the parts that were not vice-presidential. We are representing dancehall, trying to be authentic, but yuh know, we have to show respect for the office,” Nadine told the Jamaican Gleaner.

Nadine continued, “I really don’t know if Kamala Harris will see this. I hope she does, but whatever happens, I am just proud to do this for another Jamerican, another woman. Respect to respect. Vice President Harris, step up!”
