A Refreshing, Empowered Independent Voice:
Unbought and Unapologetic

As an independent creator with no corporate sponsorship, Jay Blessed has built her own media presence through her personal determination and sacrifices. It’s not always easy, with many imitators and competitors with far greater resources at their disposal. In 2020, Jay Blessed and her fans took on Heather Thomson of the Real Housewives of New York and the Media empire that supports her. Her podcast was also named “In My Head with Heather Thomson”. Due to the outspoken nature and candid conversations around preserving the integrity and individuality of marginalized creators, we were able to successfully pressure the podcast to change its name to In My Heart and create its own unique conversations. While flattery can be a sincere form of admiration, the community rallied to make sure that their creators are given due credit for their contributions.

In My Head with Jay Blessed is a tribute and gift to her community, helping drive important mental health conversations about subjects that are often taboo. Her diverse audience comes from around the globe but are connected in their shared experiences overcoming generational, social, and personal challenges.
