Usain Bolt “The Football Star” Offered Major Soccer Contract

After scoring two goals in his maiden game for the A-League club – Central Coast Mariners, Usain Bolt has been offered a contract!

The eight-time Olympic champion sprinter scored two goals of the4-0 friendly win against Macarthur South West United in Sydney. His promising skills were enough for Maltese club – Valletta FC to offer his a two-year professional contract.

Valletta FC is seeking to have the agile and quick Bolt on their team, to make their Champion League dreams come true. According to ESPN.com, Valetta’s managing director and CEO Ghasston Slimen said that they hope to sign the Olympic champion in time for him to participate in their Maltese Super Cup match on Dec. 13 against Balzan.

“A champion is always welcome and at Valletta FC we believe nothing is impossible,” said Slimen, adding that he hoped Bolt could pave the way for more athletes to switch sports.

Bolt has always expressed his desire to be aprofessional footballer. He retired from track and field in 2017.
