VIDEOS: Dalton Harris Is The X-Factor 2018 Winner!

The Caribbean rejoices with the young Jamaican superstar named Dalton Harris, who proved he is worthy of all good things!

The former winner of Jamaica’s Rising Star talent show (at age 16), has won the UK’s most watched talent TV Show, The X-Factor.

Week after week, Dalton delivered rousing renditions that not only wowed audiences worldwide but secured a place in each of the judges’ hearts. His win didn’t come with obstacles and challenges but in true victorious fashion, he conquered them all and now reigns as the 2018 Champ.

From surviving his tough childhood and poor upbringing, to battling invasion into his privacy with gay rumors at an international level, to most recently, his mother coming out on a local newspaper blatantly seeking a handout if her son won – she wants him to buy her a house. Dalton has not had an easy life but he is about to be rewarded for every tear he has ever cried!

I pray Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson really adopts Dalton as she has publicly stated and that he choose to unabashedly live his life for himself and not for others.

In addition to winning a recording contract with Sony-owned Syco Music, Dalton took home the grand prize of £1 million (J$162,632,400).

Dalton is not the first Jamaican singer to win a reality TV singing competition. Back in 2013, songstress singer Tessanne Chin won Season 5 of NBC’s The Voice.
