Memorial Weekend 2020 might be a wash but you can always count on Caribbean people to set de trend and mek de ting sweet! Swizz Beatz and Timbaland announced that Dancehall Kings – Bounty Killer vs Beenie Man, will be up next on their Verzuz series, this Memorial Saturday.
The “quarantine” battle featuring these two Grammy award winning juggernauts, will take place this Memorial Day weekend – Saturday, May 23 at 8 pm ET, via Instagram Live.
Many of us were hopeful about the Digicel edition back on April 19th, however, due to Digicel’s wifi issues, we were left disappointed. Now…as hype as we would like to be, these legends are in Jamaica, still using Digicel services, so we can only pray that all goes as planned, and a battle of mammoth proportions will be executed at the highest intended levels!
