A suspect has been arrested in the murder of the son of legendary Calysponian, Sugar Aloes.
Ancil Blackman, 39, was shot and killed in Brooklyn on Friday, July 24.
Sugar Aloes Son Murder
According to NY Daily News, Hason Rink, who was arrested on Tuesday for the July 2 execution of 20-year-old Deondraye Moore in Brownsville, admitted pulling the trigger for a $2,000 payoff before unexpectedly implicating himself in the July 24 murder of Ancil Blackman, 39, in Crown Heights.
Blackman was targeted after starting a relationship with Rink’s girlfriend while the accused killer was behind bars, with the two arguing over the woman about a week before the President St. shooting, sources said. Rink and the girlfriend are parents of a baby, the sources said
Blackman was shot dead while heading home from his job as a building porter.

Ancil Blackman, is the son of Michael Osuna, famously known as 2x Calypso Monarch – Sugar Aloes.
According to the T&T Newsday, Blackman is the second of Osuna’s sons to be murdered. In 2018, Sea Lots resident Arnold “Redo” Isaac was sentenced to death for murdering Imo Osuna 12 years earlier.
Imo was shot dead in Sea Lots, Port of Spain, on October 29, 2006 after he spoke out against residents over the robbery of a patron at a party he had hosted days before.
