TONIGHT: KES Celebrates T&T Independence with Live Concert

On August 31 — Trinidad & Tobago’s 58th Independence Day — KES will present a 1-hour TV special, KES LIVE, airing on television across the Caribbean, Africa and to a global audience online!

KES LIVE, will be airing at 8pmET in the U.S., and across nine Caribbean countries in partnership with Trinidad’s TV6. The broadcast will also be simulcast in Africa on Trace TV; and live on the band’s social media pages and YouTube channel.

These icons of Soca music and ambassadors of Caribbean culture, delivered their first new full-length album in over five years, WE HOME, on Friday August 28th, 2020.

Led by charismatic frontman Kees Dieffenthaller (aka KES), the group breathes new life into its catalog of Carnival hits (“Hello,” “Savannah Grass,”) and island pop jams (“Endless Summer,” “Magic”) with fresh renditions showcasing their prowess as a live band par excellence.
