Soca Icon Blaxx Battling Kidney & Lung Failure, Needs Financial Support.

Dexter Stewart, known globally as Soca icon Blaxx is back in the hospital after under-going surgery last week. Though the details on his surgery has not been released, his management confirms the Soca star is battling lung and kidney issues.

Blaxx Needs Financial Help

Soca Icon Dexter Stewart aka Blaxx is battling Kidney and Lung issues and is appealing for financial support to cover his medical expenses.

The Soca star who is known for major hits like, “Gyal Owner,” “Tusty,” “Hulk” and “Leh Go” is fighting for his life.

According to Newsday, Blaxx’s manager Giselle Gellineau-Penrose shared last evening that Blaxx needs “lots and lots of prayers.”

According to LOOP TT, Blaxx was re-admitted to the hospital this past Tuesday, October 13th, for breathing issues. The article shares that Soca royalty Fay Ann Lyons-Alvarez and husband, Ian “Bunji Garlin” Alvarez confirmed that Blaxx was undergoing tests because of fluid in his lungs and any other complications following his undisclosed surgery, a week ago.

Fellow Soca artiste, Dawg E Slaughter issued a public appeal to raise funds to assist the ailing performer with his his medical expenses.

This past Sunday, Blaxx asked his fans to pray for him as he was battling a a kidney infection.

“Ah battling dem and ah fighting dem,” stated Blaxx.
