[PHOTOS] IN MY HEAD “The Live Podcast Experience” A Success!

SHARE THIS STORY:

The first installment of the IN MY HEAD “The Live Podcast Experience” was a success! It was a safe space for meeting, connecting and discussing…life. This powerfully intimate gathering of people, who made a conscious decision to live their best lives and be the best authentic versions of themselves, showed up and showed out in support of Jay Blessed.

Jay Blessed Thanks Her Supporters

Despite the torrential rainstorm that occurred in New York City on Wednesday, August 7th, my dedicated supporters drove as far as Boston, Connecticut, Maryland, and even flew in from Trinidad, for my sold-out IN MY HEAD – The Live Experience, held in Brooklyn.

Co-curated by Char Paije of Front Paije Inc., IN MY HEAD – The Live Experience tackled mental health from all aspects; relationships, grief and loss, financial wellness, identity issues, emotional crises, depression and more. Sexual Health Educator Alicia Ifill was guest for the very engaging “Sexual Healing” segment; while Prof. Kevin McEwen joined me for the very vulnerable and intimate discussion of “When Life Happens.”

“I met people for the first time who have been supporters of my brand for years. Some took days off work just to travel to Brooklyn for the event. This is a testament of why it is necessary for us to share our authentic and honest stories. Someone needs to hear your truth, to overcome the challenge they are presently facing, and I am beyond grateful for the turn out and blessed that people trust me as a voice of reason in their lives…even from a voyeuristic point of view!”
