Hollywood actress, film director, author and Haitian Queen, Garcelle Beauvais has been announced as the new host of hit syndicated talk show, The Real.
Garcelle replaces Tia Mowry-Housely, who announced earlier this summer that she was leaving the show after six seasons.
The Real never announced a replacement for Grenadian reppin’ intellect Amanda Seales, who chose not to renew her contract after only one season because…well…that’s impossible!

In typical Caribbean fashion though, the newest cast member AND FIRST BLACK CAST MEMBER of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (who is rumored to leave the reality show if her buddy Denise Richard leaves) has landed yet another job with her new co-hosting gig.
Though a talk show like The View, would’ve been more of a perfect fit for someone of Garcelle’s experience and age, a seasoned and maternal perspective may just be what The Real‘s audience needs.

It’s also exciting that it’s happening right after my amazing time joining ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’”
